Sunscreen Policy*

At Camp4Real, we take sun safety seriously and ask for your partnership in keeping your child protected throughout the day.

What to Pack:

  • Please send your child with a labeled, non-aerosol sunscreen stick or lotion in their backpack each day.
  • We strongly recommend broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.
  • Spray sunscreen is not allowed due to the risk of inhalation and difficulty with even application.

At Home:

  • Apply sunscreen to your child before drop-off each morning—especially to face, shoulders, arms, and any exposed areas.

During Camp:
We will encourage and remind children to reapply sunscreen throughout the day, especially after water play or extended time outdoors.

  • Our staff will supervise reapplication but cannot physically apply sunscreen to campers (unless medically necessary and pre-approved).
  • Campers should be able to apply their own sunscreen, with staff guidance if needed.
  • Young campers who have an older sibling attending camp may, of course, receive assistance from their sibling during reapplication.

Tips for Younger Campers:

  • Practice applying sunscreen at home before camp starts so they feel more confident.
  • Consider sending roll-on or stick formats, which are easier for kids to use independently, especially on the face and neck.

If your child has a specific sunscreen need or allergy, please email us at Info@Camp4Real.com so we can ensure proper accommodations.
