Pre-CIT Program
Overview: The Pre-CIT Volunteer Program is a perfect bridge for children who have aged out of being Camp4Real camp attendees (we accept children up to age 12) but are still young enough to benefit from direct supervision and guidance. This unique program helps participants develop leadership skills while giving them a taste of what it’s like to mentor and support younger campers—all while enjoying the fun, activities, and meals included in a typical camper’s summer camp experience.
Through this program, Pre-CITs gain hands-on practice in teamwork, responsibility, and communication, setting a strong foundation for future roles at Camp4Real, such as Counselor-in-Training (CIT) or Counselor. Under the guidance of our experienced staff, participants learn to lead by example, contribute to the camp community, and build their confidence in a supportive and fun environment.

CIT Program
Overview: The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program is designed for young leaders ready to take the next step in responsibility and mentorship at Camp4Real. This program builds on the foundation laid by the Pre-CIT Program, offering participants more hands-on opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills while supporting campers and staff in a dynamic and engaging environment.

Under the guidance of our experienced staff, CITs gain practical experience in responsibility and problem-solving, preparing them for future roles as counselors and beyond.
