Dancin’ on the Downtown: A Free C’Ville Community Flash Mob Event for Kids!

• Event Date: Friday, May 31
• Meetup Time: 5:30 PM
• Meetup Location: Outside of Botanical Restaurant (located on the Charlottesville Downtown Mall, near the Market Street Parking Garage)

New to Dancin’ on the Downtown? 

Dancin’ on the Downtown is a FREE event led by Camp4Real founder and experienced physical educator, Scott Williams, and Kim Gentry, P.E., and Health Teacher at Scottsville Elementary, to bring the fun and excitement of the flash mob experience to elementary-aged students (and their families!) throughout the Charlottesville community.

• Who Can Participate: This event is open to ALL Charlottesville area students and teachers (public, private, homeschool!) and families ages 5 to 14!
• Performance Schedule: Dancin’ on the Downtown will make several pit stops along the mall, with our final performance near the front stage of the Ting Pavillion during Friday’s After Five!
• New this Year: Every child who registers will receive a special Dancin’ on the Downtown tee to wear during our performances! (Tees will be handed out on the day of the event!)

How to Participate:

DoD Practice

Scotty Williams of Camp4Real is coming to a school near YOU to lead students step-by-step through this year’s dance routine with a very special FREE DoD after school dance practice event!

Scroll below to see if your school is listed as a dance practice location and then click on the link to register your child! (Note that unlike our KNO and KDO events, due to the fact that this takes place within school hours, only students of the specific school may attend).

These events are FREE but online registration IS required to participate, along with updating your child’s school dismissalinformation (Camp4Real will communicate this information to your school administration).
