Prompt Pickup Policy

At Camp4Real, we strive to provide a safe and efficient shuttle transportation for your children to and from camp. To ensure the smooth operation of our shuttle service, it is crucial that parents adhere to the prompt pickup policy:

Pickup Time: Parents must arrive promptly at the designated pickup time. Consistent punctuality helps us maintain our schedule, ensures all children are supervised and safe, and respects the time of our staff. (Note that specific pickup times are communicated to parents the week prior to the start of each camp week). 

Late Pickup Fees:

• First 10 Minutes After Designated Pickup Time: $15 late fee
• Each Additional 10 Minutes: $10 additional late fee

Example: If you arrive 5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time, a $15 late fee will be applied. If you arrive 25 minutes late, the fee will be $25. 

Consistent Lateness: Repeated lateness will result in a review of your use of the shuttle service. Continued non-compliance may lead to suspension from the service. 

Late fees are necessary to cover the additional staff time required to supervise children who are picked up late. This policy aligns with industry standards and practices used by other camps to ensure the safety and efficiency of shuttle transportation.

Late Fee Payments
Any late fees incurred during the week will be calculated and communicated to you, then charged to the payment method on file at the end of the week.

Shuttle Locations

Miller School

Shuttle Locations for Miller camps: 

• Pantops area
• Hollymead area 

Blue Ridge School 

Shuttle locations for all other Blue Ridge camp weeks are:

• Hollymead area
• Ivy Elementary area
• UVA area
• Pantops area
• Crozet area

IMPORTANT NOTE: For each shuttle location the drop-off time will be sometime between 7:00 and 7:40am and the pick up time will be sometime between 4:10 and 4:45pm. The specific address location and times for each shuttle will be announced via email the 3 days prior to each camp session.

Note that all shuttles will depart at their scheduled time! To ensure your child makes it onto the shuttle, please plan to arrive early or on time.  If you know in advance that you plan to be a parent driver and will forego your shuttle transportation one or more days during your camp week, please email us ASAP at camp4real@gmail.com so we can plan accordingly.
