A close friend and teaching colleague of Camp4Real founder, Scott Williams (AKA Mr. Dubs!), Andrew has been with Camp4Real since 2011 and is a true camp favorite! He has been in the Physical Education field for fourteen years, working with students ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade. In 2018 he was named Virginia Middle School Teacher of the Year!
His fundamental philosophy revolves around the idea of inclusion and cooperative learning. Over his career he has witnessed that kids who feel like they belong demonstrate more self-confidence, willingness to take risks, and empathy. He currently lives in Albemarle County with his wife and four children.
During the week Andrew will rotate between our Rising Stars and All Stars groups to help Mr. Dubs lead and oversee camp day activities! We are so happy to have Andrew back at camp with us this year!

Brittany Ham is a P.E. teacher at Broadus Wood Elementary School, where she has been on staff since 2013! Teaching at BWES is incredibly meaningful to her for a few reasons: in addition to spending time with her awesome students that she loves, she attended Broadus Wood when she was a child AND she has the pleasure of working alongside her sister there, who is an art teacher.
She loves being outside and going on adventures with her family, especially her energetic three year old child! Her favorite Camp4Real activity is Revenge of the Bulls and enjoying all of the creative and yummy camp snacks!
Brittany has been with Camp4Real for several years, and brings so much joy, enthusiasm and fun to the camp week experience.
