Food and Snack
Is food provided?
No, Camp4Real will not provide dinner or snacks during Kids Night Out this school year.
Should camper’s bring something to eat?
Yes, Campers should bring a packed dinner or snack, depending on whether they have eaten before arriving at KNO. All lunch boxes must be clearly labeled with the camper’s first and last name. We recommend including a cold pack for items that need to stay cool. Please note: we do not have access to a refrigerator or microwave.
We loved the food at Camp4Real, why the change in food policy?
We’ve made this change to align with national camp standards, helping to minimize allergy risks and create a safer experience for both campers and staff. Additionally, feedback from families over the years supports this approach, as it ensures each child has food that meets their individual dietary needs and restrictions.
Are nutrition and healthy eating still part of the camp experience?
Absolutely! Nutrition and healthy eating is one of the big reasons we started Camp4Real, so we’re excited to keep sharing fun and meaningful activities about healthy eating, food mindfulness, and nutrition at every event.
